Program for Biosafety Systems ( Newsletter )

This e-newsletter provides information on new publications and activities for the Program for Biosafety Systems

Updates from PBS

Biotechnology & Biodiversity Interface Report Analyzes Impacts of Bt Crops PBS’s competitive grants program, the Biotechnology and Biodiversity Interface (BBI), has supported research in developing countries on the potential impact of agricultural biotechnology on biodiversity outside of agriculture, i.e. ‘wild biodiversity’  (www.ifpri.org/pbs/pdf/bbiprojects.pdf ). This BBI-sponsored report addresses the
impacts of insect-resistant Bt crops on non-target organisms, specifically parasitoids.
